The Future Theory Conference (or “Futures Conference” for short) is an interdisciplinary graduate conference organized by PhD and MA students at the University of Guelph.
2011 will mark the third year that the graduate students from various departments within the Humanities at the University of Guelph have organized a one-day conference devoted to discussing the direction theory is taking. This year’s conference titled “Future Theory, Present Praxis: Humanities as Digital Discipline” promises to continue this mandate. See the call for papers for details on this year’s theme.
The 2011 conference will take place November 25th at the TransCanada Institute, University of Guelph, Guelph ON.
